Secretary's Report: Diane KolessarMinutes from April 10, 2007 were reviewed. Addition to 4/10/07 minutes: Music Boosters will sponsor the Dunk Tank at the Fireman's Fair on Saturday, June 9th from 6 to 10 PM. Also, boxes for Acme & Redners tapes, as well as used ink cartridges are located in ALL music rooms. Motion to approve minutes with these changes made by Carol with a second by Dave. Report for May 8, 2007 discussed. Motion to approve report made Diane with a second by Dave. Treasurer's report unanimously approved. Update on refunds from the Indoor Guard trip-the bus company, Werner, will only give us a credit for a future trip, not refund the money. Discussed purchasing trip insurance for future trips. President's Report: Butch Coleman
Discussed the need for nominations for various board positions. Positions that will be vacated are: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Also, in need of chairperson(s) for Concessions. Please consider this position, as help is certainly needed. 1st Vice President: Dave Markley
The Music Boosters are collecting receipts from Redners and Acme. Collection boxes are located in the Chorus Room. We also participate in the escript with Genuardis. 2nd Vice President: Steve Pumilia
Elections for new Music Boosters Board Members will be held on June 8, 2007 at 6:30 PM. The nomination slate for President, Secretary and Treasurer has been started, but nominations are still open and will accept any additional nominations until June 8, 2007. Current nominations are: Co-President: Diane Kolessar and Jeanene Kegel, Secretary: Carol Mirynowski, and Treasurer: Bob Whiteside. Contact Steve to place a nomination. Ways and Means: Rich Hartung

Lat Market Day pickup for this school year will be May 24th. We still have cookie dough for sale at $11. No Frills Fund Raiser

This continues throughout the year. Please put used ink cartridges in a zip lock bag and place in collection box in all the music rooms. We are also collecting the large cartridges which will go to Office Depot for store credit. Concessions: Bob & Evelyn Whiteside
We are still looking for several volunteers to take over concessions. Contact any Board Member if you are interested. Please consider this position as this is a major fund raiser for the Boosters. If we do not get a chairperson (or co-chairpersons) the Boosters may have to give the concession stand up. Fruit Sale: Butch Coleman

Date for Car wash was set for Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Shell Station on Park & Ridge Avenues. Due to double booking by the Shell station owner, we had to move our date to Saturday, April 18th. We did not have many customers and not much volunteer help. Total $105. We have a date for another car wash. This will be on Sunday, August 19th from 9 to 3 PM. We expect all students to volunteer for a time slot.
New Business
Indoor PercussionIndoor Percussion traveled to Dayton, Ohio to compete in the WGI Percussion World Championships. They placed 21st out of 49 groups. Congratulations! Indoor Guard
Indoor Guard finished they season with a 4th place at Abington High School. Congratulations! Jazz Band
The High School Jazz Band won First Place at the 2007 Cavalcade of Band Liberty Division. Congratulations! Music Banquet
The annual Music Banquet will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Best Western in Towamencin. Ticket prices will be $26 for students and $30 for guests. Video Night
Video Night will be held on Friday, June 8th. There will also be a General Music Boosters meeting and elections of officers. All are welcome to attend. Fireman's Fair
The Methacton Music Boosters will once again for sponsoring the dunk tank at the Fireman's Fair. This year we will be manning the dunk tank on Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 6 to 10 PM. Looking for student volunteers to man the dunk tank and to sit on the tank. Marching Band Uniforms
Butch asked Brian Leonard about the possibility of getting new uniforms. Brian responded by saying the District would like to see the Music Boosters pay for ½ of the cost of the uniforms. New uniforms could cost up to $300 and approximately 60 would be needed. The Music Boosters are not in position to fund this. By-Laws
Discussed revising a few of the by-laws. Will continue working on by-laws at next meeting. Next meeting will be a General Meeting with election of officers. It will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Methacton High School Auditorium at 6:30 PM. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Motion to adjourn meeting made by Carol with a second by Diane.
